Wayne C. Kyhos

Wayne Kyhos is of-counsel in Day Ketterer’s Canton Office. He is a seasoned litigator with extensive personal injury defense and business litigation experience.

Throughout his career he has defended many well-known construction companies and insurance providers in hundreds of litigation defense cases in courts across Ohio. Local manufacturers, non-profits, and health care organization rely on his in-depth knowledge and experience in their respective industries when faced with personal injury claims, contract disputes, and other complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Day Ketterer in 2002 he was a partner with the law firm of Howes, Daane, Milligan, Kyhos and Erwin a successful firm with offices in Canton and Columbus. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served as a captain in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps from January, 1970 to November, 1973 and has received many military honors including the Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.
