Thomas L. Scanlon

Tom is an associate attorney in Day Ketterer’s Litigation, Business Law and Banking Law Practice Groups.

He primarily focuses on civil litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation and oil and gas litigation. Tom plays an integral role in developing case strategy and critically analyzing both legal and factual issues. In addition, Tom works closely with Day Ketterer attorneys to advise businesses, draft contracts and counsel clients in a variety of matters, including bank and creditors’ rights.   

While in law school, Tom served as a summer associate at Day Ketterer and gained valuable experience in issues related to business law, contract disputes, insurance defense, jurisdiction and procedure, oil and gas law and property law.

Besides spending time with his wife, Tom enjoys playing sports, running, fishing and cheering for the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers.  Tom lives in North Canton and is a native of Youngstown.
